Webvisions Announces New Vice President Of Finance To Head Company'S Financial Team

Singapore, 28 December 2000 - Webvisions Pte Ltd, a leading pan-Asian provider of premium hosting infrastructure services for mission-critical Internet businesses, today announced the appointment of Nelson Tan as Vice President, Finance. Tan will assume responsibility for financial planning and analysis, fiscal budgeting and controls, accounting and reporting, as well as all treasury, credit and audit functions. Tan also assists in financial strategy planning for the company's regional business development including undertaking due diligence on potential mergers and acquisitions and investments.

With more than 29 years of experience, Tan has spent over ten years in various audit functions, eight years managing his own IT systems integration business and eleven years in senior strategic and operations management positions. Tan has worked with renowned international and local companies including Cybermast Ltd, Kinergy Group, United Engineers Group, Emporium Holdings, Coopers and Lybrand, and Peat, Marwick, Mitchell and Co.

Prior to joining Webvisions, Tan held the position of CFO at Cybermast Ltd, a publicly-listed company, where he was in charge of all financial matters and related operations, as well as acquisitions and fund raising activities.

He is also a member of the Institute of Data Processing Managers. He is currently working on his MBA at the State University of New York.
