WEBVISIONS EXPANDS ITS PRESENCE INTO INDIA AND MALAYSIA AND TRIPLES SINGAPORE DATA CENTER CAPACITY

Singapore, 21 September 2000 - Webvisions Pte Ltd, Singapore's leading web hosting company, today announced the opening of new offices in Mumbai, India and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This marks the extension of Webvisions' regional presence, broadening its sales and operations capacity and strengthening its innovative web hosting services across the Asia-Pacific region.

As part of its move into India, Webvisions is building a 33,000 square feet data center facility in Mumbai, which is scheduled to be operational by December 2000. It is specially-designed for deploying high-performance Internet hosting solutions, including dedicated servers, complex co-location services, web hosting, as well as sophisticated managed services such as caching, mirroring, load balancing, database administration, disaster recovery, failover systems, and system management services. Built as a "next generation" Internet Data Center, the Mumbai facility will be equipped with high-level biometric security systems, automated temperature control and monitoring, raised flooring, comprehensive security systems and FM200 fire suppression systems. Other mission-critical features, including uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, backup diesel generators, 24-hour network and system monitoring, and multiple redundant fiber connections, are provided to ensure maximum operations reliability without disruption. By June 2001, Webvisions will establish two additional Internet Data Centers in Bangalore and Delhi.

Webvisions will also triple its current data center facilities in Singapore from 10,000 square feet to 30,000 square feet by December 2000. Since the opening of its first IDC (Internet Data Center) in January this year, the Singapore IDC has reached full capacity, in seven months due to the high demand for complex co-location and dedicated hosting solutions from customers requiring mission-critical and high-performance web hosting solutions.

Webvisions is planning to open offices in Hong Kong, Thailand and the Philippines in the next six months. This aggressive regional expansion will support Webvisions' ongoing effort to become the premiere distribution platform for its customers across Asia-Pacific.
